Fabrication of the equipment and its installation will be performed by Kirk & Blum. 4. In November of 2001, CECO Environmental announced that CECO Abatement had received an order worth $4 million. This order was to supply pollution control equipment to several alternative fuel manufacturing facilities located in North America. CECO Abatement has now received an additional order, valued in excess of $750,000 to supply equipment to an additional facility for the same customer. Fabrication and installation of the equipment will be performed by CECO's Kirk & Blum division. In addition, Kirk & Blum has received orders from the same end customer valued at over $200,000 for the ductwork necessary to convey the contaminated air to the equipment being sold by CECO Abatement. 5. CECO Environmental has received two orders, totaling approximately $1.2 million to provide pollution control equipment to a manufacturer located in the Southeastern United States. One of the orders is for multiple dust collection systems, including baghouses, which will be designed, fabricated and installed by Kirk & Blum. The other is for a fume control system designed to control fumes from an asphalt process. This system utilizes the fiberbed technology of CECO Environmental subsidiary, CECO Filters. "Once again, the unique capabilities of CECO Environmental's many divisions has enabled us to capture business we would not have had otherwise" said Rick Blum, President of CECO Environmental. "Kirk & Blum's ability to design systems which capture contaminants inside industrial facilities, thus removing them from the breathing zone of the worker, was instrumental in our securing this business.
